The Taxi Club is one of the most popular tranny bars in Sydney Australia. The Taxi Club is also called the Grosvenor Club but most people know it as The Taxi Club. In here you will find a huge mix or transsexuals, transvestites, gays and straight people all mingling in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The Taxi Club is particularly well known for its tranny clientele, this is one place along the Oxford Street area of Sydney that will certainly make your head spin. In here you will see the most beautiful ladyboys all the way through to everyday men who have a fetish for dressing up as a woman. The Taxi Club is located at 40 Flinders Street in Darlinghurst Sydney. It is not far from the corner where Oxford Street meets Flinders Street. Inside the Taxi Club has 3 levels. On the ground floor you will find a secure entry point and you will need to show your drivers licence or some other form of identification otherwise you won’t be allowed entry. The security staff are friendly enough but if you don’t have an ID card you simply won’t get in. On the ground floor there is a restaurant but when you make your way to the second floor this is where the party starts. On the second floor there is an open lounge section at one end, a number of areas to sit, talk and make friends along the second level and at the other end is a poker machine area.

All the action at the Taxi Club in Sydney takes place on the top floor. This is where most of the trannys hang out and this is where the dance floor is. They play a good mix of pop, rock and disco songs but as the night goes on they play more dance music and this is when it all happens. Friday and Sunday nights are moderately busy, with Sunday nights offering a transvestite cabaret show. The big night of the week though is on Saturday. Saturday night at the Taxi Club is almost always a full house, it is “ladies” night and you may never have seen a group of ladies quite like this before. It is certainly a sight to behold and even if you are straight it’s a really good night out. Nobody takes things too seriously and everyone is out to have a good time. Sydney people are very accepting of weird and wonderful people and whether you are a local at the Taxi Club or a first time visitor you will have no trouble making new friends or finding someone to talk to.

Although there are a number of gay bars in and around Sydney, especially the Oxford and Flinders Street areas, the Taxi Club is the most prominent bar when it comes to finding Trannys at their most comfortable.
