Spotting a ladyboy is not always an easy thing to do. Although some ladyboys do look like men dressed in women’s clothes many of them, especially from a distance, look every bit like a lady and nothing like a boy. However, when they get up close there are a few telltale signs that she might be a he. Ladyboys do their best to not only look like a girl but they try very hard to act like a girl as well but sometimes this act can be too obvious and they give themselves away. After all, real girls don’t act, they simply move like a lady naturally does. 

While I have been living in Thailand I have seen so many ladyboys all over the country who at first glance look just like a woman. The most obvious way to spot a ladyboy is always by the overacting. Like I mentioned above, real girls don’t act like girls, they simply are and it looks perfectly natural. Ladyboys on the other hand have a slightly different shape body to a woman and often try too hard to act like a girl and it just doesn’t look natural. Without being aware of it, most human beings can pick up unnatural tendencies in other people in the blink of an eye. This is due to our constant interaction with other people, we are conditioned to watching how a real girl moves and acts and when it doesn’t look like what we are used to seeing subconsciously, this causes us to take another look. This is how to spot a ladyboy on most occasions.

Practice makes perfect and the more you practice the better you will get. This is true of everything in life and certainly with ladyboys. The more these boys act like girls the more they become like girls and over time they virtually stop the act and seemingly become a girl. It’s these long time ladyboys who are harder to spot if for the most part they physically look like a woman. Up close these “girls” may reveal a couple of hints they may be a boy underneath. Most real girls have slightly smaller fingers than men and sometimes you may be able to spot a ladyboy by her longer than normal fingers. However, this is a hit and miss approach to picking a ladyboy. I have seen many girls in Thailand who have long and thick fingers simply because they were born with those genetics that are 100% woman.

One of the more obvious give aways when spotting a ladyboy is their big feet. It’s not always accurate but men definitely have bigger feet than women and many ladyboys actually wear slip on shoes that are slightly too small for their feet. If they wear shoes that covered their entire feet they would be obviously too big to be a woman so most ladyboys only cover the barest amount of their feet.

The adam’s apple in the throat area is prominent in some men but not all. If “she” has a distinct adam’s apple bulge in her throat it is a dead giveaway that she is a ladyboy. That’s of course unless you have stuck something down deep in her throat. But seriously, some ladyboys, especially in Thailand where there are many low cost plastic surgeons available, go in for what is called vocal shaving where the doctor shaves off the adam’s apple without leaving an obvious scar. Now that is one operation that does not sound pleasant but a ladyboy will go to the most extraordinary lengths to appear as much like a woman as she can.

Most Thai people, men and women, grow very little body hair, even on their face. However, many Thai men will grow a little bit of hair above their top lip. Most ladyboys would take care of this small problem daily but you never know, she might have had a long night and you may notice the hint of a moustache shadow and this might tip you off that she was born with a dick.

Genetically we all come in different shapes and sizes but one other way you might be able to spot a ladyboy is by her bigger than normal head. Men tend to have slightly bigger heads than women and when you see an otherwise fine specimen of a girl with a head like a pumpkin, she might just be a bit different in other ways too.

One very common thing that ladyboys do in Thailand is take female hormones like estrogen from a very young age. These hormones are very cheap and easily accessible so when these young boys know they want to become girls they start popping these hormone pills daily. One of the common side effects of this type of medication on a young boy is an increase in height. Since most Thai people are relatively short compared to Western people, when you see a Thai girl around six feet tall it will in most cases be a ladyboy. This is one of the most appealing things that attract many men to ladyboys, the fact some of them have all the female characteristics with a tall supermodel like body. The famous kathoey caberet shows are full of taller than average Thais. These kathoeys look amazingly like Las Vegas showgirls with their long legs and shapely bodies.

Of course if you saw a bulge in “her” pants that would be one way to spot a ladyboy but most of the time if they are wearing tight fitting clothes they tuck and tape their package up between their legs. It would probably be uncomfortable at first but I’m sure they have a way of doing it so it feels ok.

The last and final piece of advice on how to spot a ladyboy is if she has a deep voice. Some real girls have a husky kind of voice that can be quite sexy but rarely will you ever find a natural woman with a deep voice. So if she talks like a truck driver after a hard night just be aware she might have something hard down below. Spotting a ladyboy can often be easy but not always as many of them have done everything humanly possible to appear as a woman. The funny thing is though, from my experience in Thailand, as much as they try to look and act like a woman, if you ask them they will usually tell you the truth. Can you handle the truth?
